A local rattlesnake wrangler will be featured on an upcoming national television show.

Len Ramirez, owner of Ramirez Rattlesnake Removal, recently filmed an episode for the show
“Jesses James is a Dead Man.” Ramirez said he spent a few days filming in a desert showing James
how to remove venom from a rattlesnake.

Ramirez said the experience was interesting yet a little “nerve-wracking” teaching
someone how to properly handle a rattlesnake.

“It was a bit challenging but there was a paramedic standing by,” Ramirez said.

Ramirez said the show is scheduled to air soon on Spike television network. Check spike.com for listings.

In addition to filming with James, Ramirez recently wrapped a shoot for a pilot reality show for Animal Planet.
The show, if picked up, will be about men and women auditioning to be Ramirez’s right-hand man – or girl.

“It’s make or break it with Ramirez,” Ramirez said of the show’s concept.
